Mabuhay! This is a Filipino greeting that is equivalent
to
"WELCOME" in the English Language.
I am Nenita B. Buenaventura, Access Services and Electronic Resources Librarian at Long
Beach City College. Thank you for visiting this page. I hope you
will find useful ideas in it. I have included culture rich links, as I know
that this site could reach every corner of the world. I have focused on the culture
of the Filipinos.
As you may have guessed, I am a native of the Philippines.
However,
in 1994, I have pledge allegiance to the United
States and like all immigrants who have settled in
this huge and beautiful country, I became an American
citizen.
