| Our families in the Philippines get together
on December 30th every year. Each family brings food to share
with everyone and each one of us has a lot of good stories
to tell… |
Giving money to the kids during the reunion has been
a tradition. It’s our way of sharing the blessings that God
has given us for the whole year. Those kids who have grown up and
have a
family of their own will continue this tradition...

| One of the highlights of the reunion is the gift giving… we
show the younger generation of our family the true spirit
of this reunion… sharing and giving!!! |
We also have parlor games for the kids and it always
give me happiness whenever I see their wide smiles. The most popular
one for them is the “stop dance.” |

| My nieces and nephews have grown so much ... |
| ... and some of them have angels of
their own. |

| I often think about spending my summer vacation
with my eldest sister, nieces and nephews in Oahu, Hawaii… whenever
I have the chance. |
